Who this incentive applies to
This is a business/commercial incentive — it does not apply to single-family homes.
BESS4 — Small/Medium Business
Business premises, 20–200kWh battery scale. Needs new solar equal to at least 25% of battery size. Not for residential buildings.
BESS5 — Commercial & Industrial
Larger sites, 200kWh–30MWh. Facility and operations managers evaluating battery + solar at scale.
